ACCOMODATION
Beach Front Suite
72-86 square metres. Beachfront Suites are in a 3-storey building, facing directly to the sea and next of to the main swimming pool and the beach. All have “bath-with-a-view”, sun loungers and a dining/writing table on the open air terrace. Another bath tub plus a separate shower room is available in the bathroom area. Amenities include a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television with DVD/CD player where music and films are available free of charge from the library.
Cottage Suite 68-78 square metres. Standing among the coconut trees and tropical garden on the hillside looking out over the sea. Nearly all are semi-detached and are built around a split-level design. Each Cottage is varied in shape and size that ranges between 68 – 78 square metres, and a location that gives different angles of sea view, some of which can be partial. All have “bath-with-a-view”, sun loungers and a dining/writing table on the open air terrace. Amenities include a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television with DVD/CD player where music and films are available free of charge from the library.
Tongsai Grand Villa
170 square metres. The Tongsai Grand Villas stand on the hillside with large terrace areas of 81 square metres, equipped with a gazebo where guests can sleep in the open-air (mosquito net provided) as well as a bath tub, a pantry-bar area, a dining table and sun loungers; all inviting you to enjoy life in the open. The interior is spacious and comfortable with a separate furnished lounge. Amenities include a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television with DVD/CD player where music and films are available free of charge from the library. Tongsai Pool Villa 185 square metres.
Tongsai Pool Villa are in the same area as the Tongsai Grand Villa but offer partial sea view through a palm fringed garden. Apart from the standard facilities featured in the Tongsai Grand Villa, they contribute even more to the Great Outdoor Living idea with a 3 x 5 metre private plunge pool on the extended area of the terrace.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
Dining at The Tongsai Bay is a truly memorable experience. The hotel’s various dining options include a wide variety of cuisine to intrigue even the most discerning of palates and satisfy the heartiest appetites.
Chef Chom’s Thai Restaurant – named after Chef Piengchom Dhabanand, a culinary consultant and long-time friend of the hotel’s owners. Chef Chom’s serves authentic Royal Thai Cuisine in a breezy courtyard surrounded by ponds and picturesque views of the bay.
The Butler’s Restaurant – exclusively reserved for lovers of peace and quiet, this small but compelling restaurant seats just 20. Serving tasty modern Asian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere overlooking a crescent-shaped swimming pool.
Floyds Beach Bistro – set on a secluded beach, this favourite haunt for guests is ideal for a lazy, late lunch or just dawdling with chilled drinks. The evenings are even better with romantic dinners. Sip Internet Café – located right on the beach, Sip is a relaxing place tailor-made for sitting down with a cup of coffee and a piece of home-made cake while you read a book, surf the internet, or just marvel at the exquisite sea view.
Lobby Lounge – embellished with colourful lanterns from the northern town of Chiang Mai, the long-benched terrace welcomes guests to recline and enjoy a favourite drink.
