LOCATION
On a beachfront location, on the eastern cost of the island 50 minutes drive from the airport.
ACCOMMODATION
All the rooms and suites open onto a terrace or balcony and have air-conditioning and ceiling fans, a bathroom with separate bath and shower, a hair dryer, an electronic safe, a mini-bar, internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.

52 square metres. Decorated with elegant, contemporary furniture, highlighted with a touch of African fabrics and artifacts. Opening onto a spacious terrace or balcony, each room and suite conveys a comfortable feeling in harmony with the tropical surroundings.

Hillside Pool Villa
In an elevated position on the hillside with glorious ocean views. Pool Villas combine contemporary, colonial and plantation décor: from their high sloping ceilings, airy verandahs and louvered doors to the ethnic woven textiles, the design evokes exotic sensuality. Including a small private swimming pool with verandah and open-air pavilion. Bedroom with king-size bed and bathroom with sunken tub and deluxe shower.

Balafon - the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner (buffet and tables d’hôtes) is housed in three pavilions surrounded by mirror-ponds and has a warm and refined ambience.
Infinity Blue - the restaurant on the beach with endless views of the sea, serving typical local cuisine at lunch time and seafood specialities in the evening.
Amafrooty - for a light meal of salads and sandwiches at lunch time at the swimming pool.
La Compagnie des Comptoirs – at the heart of the hotel amongst the pools, this gourmet restaurant is centred on various cuisines of the world (Spain, Italy, North Africa, India, Asia) and presented in an ambience that is always elegant (under the supervision of Michelin star French Chefs Jacques and Laurent Pourcel). Dinner guests must be at least 13 years old.
Le Chateau de bel Ombre - the former colonial mansion, complete with old world charm and antique furniture, now converted into a restaurant just a stone’s throw from the hotel. An enchanting setting, punctuated by spectacular trees, and overlooking a captivatingly beautiful French style garden stretching out towards the horizon, and at the end of it the Bel Ombre golf course. Open for lunch and dinner.

A cuisine that is healthy, colourful and innovative and explores a range of types of cooking, products and textures.
Exotic moments may also be spent in one of the three bars, Zenzibar and its relaxing lounge, Lion’s Lounge – a jazzy bar at the end of the evening and Blue Drift Bar – a convivial and relaxed atmosphere looking out over the lagoon on the edge of the beach.
