INTRODUCTION

LOCATION
Filitheyo resort is situated in Faafu Atoll 120.7 km away from Male Velana International Airport. It takes 35 minutes by sea plane, followed by a 15-minute traditional dhoni ride. Seaplane transfers are the only means of transportation for guests to this beautiful island.
ACCOMODATION
Superior Villas
Located on the beachfront, these semi-detached villas feature a king size four poster bed or twin beds, private sundeck with day bed and semi-open-air bathroom with outdoor shower. Interconnecting rooms can be requested for families and groups.
Deluxe Villas
The detached Deluxe Villas are stand alone on the beachfront. Features include a king size four poster bed or twin beds, private sundeck with day bed and semi-open air bathroom with outdoor shower and bathtub.
Water Villas
Standing on stilts over the lagoon, the spacious water villas are furnished with a king size four poster bed or twin beds, a large bathroom with a jacuzzi, day bed and a private sundeck with a traditional ‘udoli’ (swing chair) and private steps leading directly into the water.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
The Main Restaurant is a spacious pavilion offering an imaginative buffet menu from around the world, from classic dishes to exotic delights. Chefs are also on hand at live cooking stations to tailor their fresh dishes to your liking.

The Sunset Restaurant and Bar is one of the best spots at Filitheyo to watch the spectacular sunsets. It´s located on the tip of the island adjacent to the turquoise ocean. This restaurant offers an international a la carte menu. The delicious dishes are complimented by a wide selection of European and New World wines as well as cocktails and juices. Guests can sit under the shady pavilion or sit in the pool at the swim-up bar. Choices of gourmet menus are also available for private dining on the beach or at the Sunset Restaurant.

Filitheyo Main Bar is framed by the beach on one side and a Japanese-style pond on the other. With a tropical beach vibe and sandy floor, Filitheyo Bar offers a variety of spirits, wine and beer and you can choose to sit either inside or outside on the beach.
Bar opens at 09:00 am & closes when the last person leaves.
FACILITIES
​The Watersports Centre offers a host of activities including Stand-up paddling, kayaking and snorkeling.

Back on dry land you can enjoy beach volleyball, table-tennis and billiards or work out in the air-conditioned gym. A selection of board games are available for lazy afternoons and quiet evenings and Wi-Fi is available in the public areas (chargeable).

Excursions
Available excursions include sunset and morning fishing, trawling fishing, island-hopping, snorkeling and special honeymoon excursions.
Island Hopping
Island hopping – see traditional Maldivian houses, with many made of local vegetation and thatch, or coral stone. You will also see the mosque where the Muslim people pray five times a day, and visit the local island school. The beauty, culture and way of life on a small island will be explained by your Guest Relations Officer as you make your way through the village.
Snorkeling
Fish and coral/ sponges are the main attraction and the best snorkeling area is a nice, extensive, house reef where visibility is usually good.
Reef access points have been introduced.
Night Fishing
Enjoy the traditional Maldivian “hand – reel bottom fishing”, with the experienced Dhoni crew. You can catch Red Snapper, Barracuda, Groupers, all are fantastic for eating. The dhoni crew will search for the best place to fish and assists you with bait and reeling in the big ones. When you catch your own fish, the Chef will prepare it for you the following day for lunch or dinner in the Main Restaurant.
Spa
